In the game between the Ice Dogs & Stars this past Friday, Al VanderVeen of the Ice Dogs was ejected from the game for receiving three minor penalties. This was the first time that this has occurred for Al this season, so he is okay to play in his next game this week Friday.

On November 16 Dan VanReenen (Flyers) received a "10 minute" misconduct. This was the first time that this has occurred for Dan this season, so he was okay to play in his next game on November 23rd.

I failed to mention that in the game between the Ice Dogs & Stars on October 5th, Aaron Boelens was ejected for receiving three minor penalties. Obviously this was the first time that this has occurred for Aaron this season, so he was okay to play again this past Friday (October 12th).

Welcome to the 2018-19 Season. This is our League's 50th season!!

Once again -we will be going with seven teams this season. The only major change that we have going into this season is that we have shortened our regular season games by five minutes in order to save money on referee costs. This means that we will no longer have overtime in regular season games. Games that are tied after regulation will stay as a tie. We will also need to shorten up our warmups, so please do your best to be ready on time and co-operate with the referees when they ask to get the game started.
Our regular season game times at the Point Edward Arena will now be at: 7:00, 8:15, & 9:30.

In Game 2 of the finals, Kevin Kraayenbrink of the Omegas was handed a "10 minute" misconduct. This was the only time that this occurred with Kevin this season, so he will not be suspended for it going into next season.
